About the event
Join us on this four-block evening walking tour and learn about the real horrors of everyday life in the 18th century. Kids of all ages will become part of the story as they reenact revolting scenes from history. Stories include yellow fever, leeches, personal hygiene, and how to give a smallpox inoculation. Kids age 5 and under are free.
MEETING PLACE: Meet your guide in the plaza at the Museum of the American Revolution, 101 S. Third Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
POLICY: Cancel up to 48 hours in advance of tour time to receive a full refund. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of tour time or "no shows". Please arrive 5 minutes early; tours start promptly on time. Tours run rain or shine.
